<p><b>Fine autograph. Important manuscript with sermons for the death of Nikolai I and the crowning of Alexander II at its beginning, by a leading contemporary Rav - the area of Grodno, 1855. [32] pp. </b></p> <p><b><br /></b></p> <p><b>A manuscript divided into chapters, in fine clear script, on issues of the Tenaim and Ketubah, versions of varied deeds, commentary, customs and Halachot - including deep Halachot in Even HaEzer and Choshen Mishpat pertaining to the Ketubah with many references. </b></p> <p><b>Apparently, a manuscript that was nor printed. </b></p> <p><br /></p> <p><b>At the beginning of the book, two beautiful sermon</b>s, the first, Tru'at Melech, for the death on the Russian Tzar Nikolai I (its content and style indicate that it was delivered to supporters of the Tzar since the many descriptions praising the Tzar's grace do not fit Tzar Nikolai, who was infamous for his cruelty and decrees against the Jews). </p> <p>The second, Melech Beyofyo, for the crowning of Alexander II, who succeeded his father Nikolai. The sermon refers to his favorably for granting equal rights to varied minorities.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>(At the beginning of the first sermon "a sermon I delivered in Grodno for the death of Emperor Nikolai I..." - Nikolai died in 1855, thus the place and year of the manuscript). </p> <p><br /></p> <p>16 leaves written on both sides, two columns per page. </p> <p>Simple binding. Some detached leaves. </p> <p>The first leaf is mostly missing. </p> <p>The end of the manuscript is missing. </p> <p>Water stain on some of the copy. </p> <p>Good condition. </p>

Signature of the Gaon Rabbi Shimon Deutsch. </b></p> <p><br /></p> <p>4 pages of a sermon on the Sugya if Deho'il delivered by the Maharam Esh on Shabbat Hagadol of 1832 to the Yarmuth community, written by his disciple Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Adler of Hovesh. </p> <p>The Chidushim, based on this manuscript, were printed in KOvetz Olat Chodesh and in IMrei Esh Hachadashot which was published in 2006. </p> <p>In addition to the Chidushei Torah - appearing here is the signature of the <b>Gaon Rabbi Shimon Deutsch who was a disciple of the Chasam Sofer</b>. </p> <p><br /></p> <p><b>Rabbi Meir Eisenstadt</b>, known as the <b>Maharam Esh</b> after his book, was one of the first disciples of the <b>Chasam Sofer </b>in his yeshiva in Mattersdorf and kater in Pressburg and is considered one of his leading disciples. Served as Rav of several communities, the largest of them being Ungvar, where he also headed a yeshiva. </p> <p>In 1832, when he was Rav of Yarmuth, he delivered this sermon. </p> <p><br /></p> <p><b>Rabbi Shimon ben Rabbi Avraham Aharon Deutsch, </b> the brother-in-law of Rabbi Aharon Dabid Deutsch author of Goren David, was one of the first disciples of the Chasam Sofer who immigrated to Eretz Yisroel. Rabbi Shimon signed his name at the end of the sermon: <b>"ה"ק שמעון בהרב מוהרא"א דייטש"</b></p> <p><b><br /></b></p> <p>[1] leaf, [4] pp. </p> <p>26X40 cm. </p> <p>Some tears and stains.
