<br />French hunting shotgun from the mid-19th century, with two side-by-side barrels, muzzle-loading, bearing on the top rib the name of the maker, inlaid in yellow metal: "Prelat a Paris". Side percussion locks with vegetal engravings and the maker’s name. Root wood stock, with a stylized bird’s head at the slender part and incised checkering. Iron mounts with vegetal engravings. With wooden case, lined with felt in shades of red, containing a screwdriver and nipple key, bullet mold, cleaning rod, small powder flask (lacking one glass) and turned wooden box for percussion caps. Missing the ramrod, and one of the components of the mainspring of the right lock is broken. Case with signs of use. Approx. overall length: 103 cm; approx. barrel length: 62 cm; calibre: 15 mm.François Prelat, gunsmith in Paris from 1810 to 1850.

<br />Fusil de chasse français du milieu du XIXe siècle, à deux canons juxtaposés, à chargement par la bouche, portant sur la bande supérieure le nom du fabricant, incrusté en métal jaune : « Prelat a Paris ». Platines latérales à percussion avec gravures végétales et nom du fabricant. Crosse en bois de ronce, avec tête d’oiseau stylisée sur la partie fine et quadrillage incisé. Garnitures en fer, avec gravures végétales. Avec coffret en bois, garni de feutre dans des tons de rouge, contenant un tournevis et une clé de cheminée, une balleuse (moule à balles), une baguette de nettoyage, une petite poire à poudre (à laquelle il manque un verre) et une boîte en bois tourné pour les amorces. Manquent la baguette et l’un des composants du ressort principal de la platine droite, cassé. Coffret avec des traces d’usage.
