First printed about a hundred years after the author’s passing by Rabbi Betzalel Levin of Lechovits in Warsaw in 5651 (1891), who received the manuscript from the Admor Rabbi Yisrael the "Yenuka" of Stolin, which was hidden in his treasury from the archives of his grandfather, the holy Rabbi Aharon, author of "Beit Aharon" of Karlin, of blessed memory, from an old manuscript written in 5513 (1753).

<b>The book is adorned with numerous approbations and letters of praise from the great Admors of Russia, Lithuania, and Poland, who sit at the forefront of the kingdom, including the holy brothers Rabbi Tzvi Meir HaCohen and Rabbi Avraham Yissachar HaCohen Rabinowitz of Radomsk.</b>

On the title page appears an ownership stamp of Rabbi Chaim Baruch Kashansky, a ritual slaughterer in Warsaw.

<b>The holy Rabbi Chaim Chaikel of Amdur, of blessed memory</b> - was brought close to his teacher, the Maggid of Mezritch, by Rabbi Aharon the Great of Karlin, who told him that there is a prepared lamp in Lithuania that only needs to be lit. He spread Chassidut in Lithuania and suffered greatly from the Mitnagdim. He is frequently mentioned in the writings of the Mitnagdim against Chassidut. Great tzaddikim greatly praised his fear of heaven and his staying awake for a thousand nights studying Torah and serving God; it is also mentioned in "Tiferet Shlomo" by the holy Rabbi of Radomsk that the hair of his head fell out due to his immense fear of the Almighty. He passed away on 23 Adar 5547 (1787).
